Yvette A. (Morin) Kapinos, 75, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, May 12, 2019, with her loving family at her side. Born July 11, 1943, daughter of the late Gilbert and Jeanette (St. Jean) Morin, she was a graduate of the former Sacred Heart High School in Holyoke. Yvette retired after many years of service as a bookkeeper in the local trucking industry.

She greatly enjoyed cooking and solving crossword puzzles, along with trips to the local casinos. Yvette is survived by her beloved husband of fifty-eight years, David W. Kapinos; her loving children, Lori Brunetti and companion Phil Fontaine, Jim Kapinos and wife Diane, William Kapinos and husband Todd Del Negro, and Michael Kapinos; five cherished grandchildren, Amy, Michael, Nicole, Jennifer and Jeremy; three cherished great-grandchildren, Yvette, Troy and Gunner; and caring sister and brothers. At Yvette’s request, all funeral services and burial in MA Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery will be held privately.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke, 110 Cherry St., Holyoke, MA 01040.
