Newman, age 91, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at her home. She was born on April 11, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas and Angeline (Wasik) Matteini. She grew up and attended school in Chicago.

On April 25, 1946 she was united in marriage to Travis Calvert. They made their home in Chicago. Unto this union four children were born and they were married 29 years.

She was united in marriage to Farley Newman in 1988. They made their home in Mississippi, later moving to Wichita and then to Warsaw. Yvonne is survived by four children; Travis Calvert, Jr. and his wife Claudia, of Chicago, David Calvert, and his wife Aletha, of Tightwad, Missouri, Kath Stanisich, and her husband Bill, of Nacogdoches, Texas and Dawn Squires, and her husband Steve, of Warsaw, fourteen grandchildren; Deborah Meyers, David Calvert II, Dwight Calvert, Derek Calvert, Daniel Calvert, Lauren Haile, Cliff Calvert, Angela Allen, Billy Allen, Toni Stanisich, Jason Ferry, Denise Hawkins, Jason Squires and Kristina Squires, stepchildren; Vic Newman, Ricky Newman, John Newman and Jai Newman Maddox, she also has a great friend and caregiver Bonnie Stevens, numerous great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

She was a woman who loved to decorate and was meticulous when it came to her home. She had a Boldness and Love for our Lord and Savior and would witness to anyone that would listen. Funeral Services for Yvonne J. Newman will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri.

Interment will follow the funeral at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
