Mrs. Reding is survived by her loving husband, Robert L. Lieser; her beloved children, James (Kathleen) Reding Jr. of Stillwater, MN, Mari-Terese Ogren of Stillwater, MN, Patrick (Jennifer) Reding of Mahtomedi, MN, Andrew (Francie) Reding of St. Paul, MN and Kathleen (John) Magill of Stillwater, MN; her extended family, Robert (Lisa) Lieser of Savage, MN, Lori (Kevin) Davidson of Lakeville, MN, Christine (Alan) Foster of Lakeville, MN and Brian (Gena) Lieser of Lakeville, MN; her sister, Judith (Tom) Russell of Stillwater, MN; sister-in-law, Jane Marcotte of Stillwater, MN; and twelve cherished grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Alina, Ana, James, Benjamin, Erin, Hayes, Owen, Baker, Cecilia and Mary. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James Reding in 1996; her son, Paul Reding in 1960; and her brother, Victor Marcotte in 2006.
Yvonne was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on July 12, 1936, the daughter of Vernon Paul and Celestine Agnes (nee Baker) Marcotte. She was the oldest of three children and attended Holy Spirit Grade School and Saint Joseph’s Academy in St. Paul Minnesota. She wed James Albert Reding on November 24, 1956 and went on to have 6 children.
She earned her associate degree in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota and then established her own Interior Design Firm, Inside Design, where she provided design services for many years. She was also an active volunteer at church, her children’s schools and many other organizations. She enjoyed playing golf, skiing, swimming and spending time at her lake home on Lake Carnelian.
Yvonne married Robert Lieser on January 2, 1999. They enjoyed traveling and winters in Estero, Florida. There they enjoyed spending time with friends, visits from their children and grandchildren and Yvonne spent many hours honing her painting skills.
Yvonne will be deeply missed by her husband, family, friends, care workers and all who knew her. A funeral service is scheduled for February 14, 2019 at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Saint Paul, Minnesota. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 9:00- 11:00.
