Obituary for Mr. Zdzislaw Gut Zdzislaw Gut, age 71, passed away Thursday morning, April 26, 2018 in Chicago, IL. Beloved husband of Zofia; loving father of Joanna (Jonathan) Vargas, Elzbieta Gut (Jeremy Stank), and Dorota (Emilian) Florescu; cherished grandfather of Natalia, Nicholas, and Emma; dear brother of Maria Boronska, Romana Fido, the late Janina Loboda, and the late Zbigniew Gut; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Zdzislaw was a competetive cyclist who loved to explore and traveled extensively, especially along the East and West Coasts of the United States.

He played the accordion, and was a lover of classical music, especially of Strauss and Pavarotti. He will be missed by friends and family in both the United States and in Poland, and also by his loyal canine companion Max. Visitation Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence Ave.
