Robinson, A C, 76 of Springfield passed away September 3, 2018 in his residence. He was born in Whitehall, AL on February 10, 1942, the son of Dave and Lizzie Robinson, Sr. A C retired from Stakers Alloy with 30 years of service. He loved to go fishing and was known as a handyman or Mr. fix it.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Michael Christopher Robinson; granddaughter Ashley Robinson; two brothers John Long and Dave Robinson, Jr.; and sister Katherine Kennedy. Survivors include his loving wife Lola Robinson, whom he married September 17, 1964; children A C Robinson, Jr., Edward Robinson, David Robinson, Jesse Robinson, Gladys Robinson and Miranda Robinson; sisters Huzell Blake and Rose Campbell; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Services to honor A C will be Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Noon in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor William McIntire officiating.

Visitation will begin at 11:00AM. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.
