Aaron Mathew Shaffer, 45, of Grove City, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019, in Pittsburgh, PA, after a lengthy stay in the hospital. Born on May 5, 1973, in Grove City, PA, he is the son of Milo G. and the late Lenora J. (Heasley) Shaffer; brother of Kimberly (Joe) Grosman, Christopher Shaffer, Heather (Harry) Hillen, Brian J. Shaffer, and Laura M. Shaffer. His love for football started in high school and continued on for the next 15 years with five different semi pro teams.

Aaron Worked in the grocery industry for over 25 years. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1000 Freeport Road, New Kensington, PA.
