Ada Luz Rosa, (nee Castillo) 78, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ. The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 at 8:45 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Michael’s Church, Newark at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. Mrs. Rosa was born in Quebradilla, Puerto Rico. She has lived in Newark, NJ for the last 65 years. She is survived by her children, Clara Alvarez, Ada Yvette Munoz, Eddie, Rafael, Jose, Nemesio and Jesus Rosa and their families.

She was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all. Ada was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nemesio Rosa.
