Obituary for Adaina Doris Riley Adaina Doris Riley, 83, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Friday, September 21, 2018. She was born May 19, 1935 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Walter Jefferson and Florence Beatrice (Rowbotham) Adams. She attended public schools and graduated from Warner High School.

She married Albert Warren Riley in Muskogee, Oklahoma on October 6, 1956. They shared more than 23 years of life and marriage together when he passed in 1979. Adaina worked as the Muskogee County Court Clerk where she made many friends and acquaintances.

She retired in 2002 after many years of service. Her hobbies included dancing, bowling, playing cards, and traveling. She enjoyed playing on an independent basketball team for 3 years.

She took numerous cruises but enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. Adaina faithfully attended First United Methodist Church for many years where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the Women’s Democratic Party and the American Business Women’s Association.

She will always be remembered as an adventurous, young at heart, people person, “my earth angel” bloomed wherever she was planted. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Adaina was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charlie Adams, Linley Adams, and Doyle Adams.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Riley Willmon and husband Jackie; son, John Timothy Riley; grandson, Jarred Marshall Wray Riley; step granddaughter, Delacey Woods and husband Jeff and their children, Ethan and Livvi; siblings, Harold Adams, Pete Adams (Faye), Wanda Lingle, Zereta Thompson, and Ina Nogalski; sister-in-law, Pat Adams; and her very special friend, Bud Stange; along with other family members and friends. Funeral services celebrating Adaina’s life will be 2PM, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jack Kemper officiating. Interment will follow at Warner Memorial Cemetery with Dirk Travis, Jarred Riley, Wayne Adams, David Travis, Chuck Adams, Waylon Travis, Ethan Woods, and Jeff Woods.
