Adam Michael Hughes, 79, of Summerville, husband of Kurt Clemons High, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his residence. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Oakbrook Chapel, 11000 Dorchester Rd.

amfar.org. Adam was born on December 16, 1939 in Memphis, TN, son of the late Hilton Rice Carr, Jr. and the late Ruth Hughes Carr. He was originally from Miami, FL where he retired from Graybar Electric and Carnival Cruise Lines.

Survivors in addition to his husband Kurt are: two brothers: Patrick Carr (Priscilla) of Parkland, FL and John Carr (Ann) of Summerville; one sister: Anita Carr Rummens (Dennis) of Glendora, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
