Obituary for Adelle Prince Lena Adelle Rankin Prince, 47, of 280 Herman Road, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018, at her home. She was the daughter of Charles and Evelyn Shipman Rankin of Laurens. Adelle graduated from Chris Logan Beauty School and was a cosmetologist for many years.

She was also a member of Lutheran Atonement. Surviving in addition to her parents are: a daughter, Sophia Eve Rankin; brother, Charles Edward Rankin, Jr. (Alicia Deanne Davis); nieces, Hayleigh Celeste Rankin and Chloe Camille Rankin; nephew, Charles Preston Rankin; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Edgar Edward and Lena Durst Rankin, and maternal grandparents, Preston and Ruby Jennings Shipman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The Kennedy Mortuary from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 30, 2018. Memorials may be made to: Lutheran Atonement, 413 W. Farley Ave.
