Obituary for Agnes S. Glova Agnes Glova, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at The Parker at Somerset in Franklin Township. Born and raised in South Plainfield, Agnes resided in Edison for more than 50 years. A devout Catholic, Agnes was a daily communicant of Guardian Angels RC Church in Edison.

A member of The Legion of Mary, she visited the sick and volunteered at the same nursing home she would eventually end up in due to her Alzheimer’s disease. She had a loving, happy-go-lucky spirit and you could often hear her whistling or singing a song.

She loved to dance. Even as her disease progressed & eventually took her ability to do all else, she never lost the ability to smile brightly & often. She was beloved by all her caretakers who regarded her as “Sweet smiling Agnes”.

Agnes was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, friend and will be deeply missed by her family. Predeceased by her sister Veronica Krennick and stepson John Glova Jr., surviving are her daughters, Marie D’Urso and her husband Richard of South Plainfield and Judi Glova of Beverly Hills, CA; son, Joseph Glova, and his wife Dee of Monroe; stepdaughter, Susie Glova of Monroe; sister, Helen Krog of Edison; brother, Stephen Letostak (wife Loretta) of South Plainfield; grandchildren, Michael Glova (wife Lorena) and Gina D’Urso and Cassandra Butrico (husband Gerry) and four great-grandchildren; Rylee (Glova) and Anthony, Angelo and Pio Giovanni (Butrico).
