Edinburg – Agustina R. Cortez Roman, 73, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. She was born in Colotlan Jalisco, Mexico on July 25, 1942 to Francisco Roman and Juanita Contreras. Left to cherish her memory are her husband: Magdaleno Cortez and her daughter Martha Leticia Peña.

Family will be receiving friends and family on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Virgil Wilson Event Center in Mission, Texas. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Virgil Wilson Event Center in Mission, Texas. Interment will follow at Garden of Angels Cemetery in Abram, Texas.
