Ahlean Corder Harrison, 97, of Nesbit, MS, went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2019. She was born in Carrollton, MS on September 20, 1921. Ahlean was a retired employee of the William R. Moore Company in Memphis, and was devoted member of First Baptist Church of Nesbit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vassar and Myrtle Corder; her brother, Winfred Corder; a sister, Dorothy Corder Jones; a son, John P. Harrison, II; and her loving husband of 65 years, Pollard Woodard Harrison. Ahlean is survived by two daughters, Pam Stanfill (Mike), of Horn Lake, and Jan Carroll (Don) of Hernando; a son, Dennis Harrison (Sissy) of Olive Branch; as well as fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Corder. She was a shining example of her faith and was loved by all who knew her.

She was treasured by her family and she will be greatly missed. Family and friends will gather to share memories from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, followed by services at 2:00 p.m., both to be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-Midtown (775-0310). Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
