Mattie Ruth Stancil, 86, passed away on May 21, 2019 in Germantown, TN. She was preceded in death by husbands, Lamar Williford, Wayne Darling, and Gordon Stancil; one son, Rick Williford. She is survived by her sons, Greg (Diana) Williford of Bradenton, FL, Steve (Emily) Williford of Memphis, TN, one sister, Margie Sizemore of Memphis, TN.

Mrs. Stancil was blessed with seven, grandchildren; Robin (Mark) Stevens of Bay St Louis, MS, Scott Williford of Tampa, FL, Dalton Williford of Denver, CO, Molly Williford of Bradenton, FL, Ryan (Ashley) Williford of Erlanger, KY, David Willingford of Burlington, KY, Daniel Wiliford of Moulton, AL; six great grandchildren, Sam Stevens, Katie Stevens, Nathan Stevens, Lucy Stevens, Betsy Stevens, and McKenna Williford. Mrs. Stancil was retired from 1st Tennessee Bank. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Southaven, MS and had been a choir member most of her life.

She was loved by all who knew her and never met a stranger. Luke 6:23 Be glad in that day and leap for joy, for behold your reward is great in Heaven.
