Obituary for Alan Breyer Breyer, Alan, 59, Homer City, died June 26, 2018, at home. Born March 11, 1959, in Johnstown, son of Davis J. Breyer and Jane (Malloy) Breyer-Giazzon. Preceded in death by father, and step-father, Louis Giazzon.

Survived by mother, Summerhill; brother, Davis J. (Sandy) Breyer, Summerhill; John (Janet) Breyer, Dayton, Ohio; William Breyer, Detroit, Michigan; and Mario (Tricia) Giazzon, Montgomery; and also numerous nieces and nephews. Alan was a US Army veteran and a US Navy veteran of Desert Storm. He was a graduate of Mount Aloysius, earning a bachelor degree in computer science.

Alan was a skilled carpenter and loved the freedom of the open road; riding on his custom Yamaha. He was an active member of ABATE and American Legion Post 0222, Clymer. He was passionate about volunteering and enjoyed lending his talents as a graphic designer.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Strongstown Bright Hope UMC, 14771 Route 422, Highway East, Strongstown, PA 15957, Ministers, Bill Warrick and Paul Sensabaugh, presiding. Inurnment, Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundys Corner. Military service by Twin Rocks VFW ritual team.
