Obituary for Harold E. “Ike” Bowser BOWSER – Harold E., “Ike,” 72, Jeannette, formerly of Altoona, died September 6, 2018 at home. Born August 7, 1946, in Johnstown, son of the late Harold S. and Virginia G. (Burkey) Bowser. Survived by siblings, Sunny A., married to Marlene (Gates), Cindy S., wife of Raymond Fagan, all of Altoona; and Timothy, married to Suzanne (Baranik), Williamsburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ike was a graduate of Altoona Area High School, class of 1965 and earned an associate’s degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University. Member of American Legion Post 0344, Jeannette. Veteran of the US Army and Navy, having served during the Vietnam War.

Ike worked as a millwright for US Steel and an electrical technician at Allegheny Hospital. Honoring his wishes services were private. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery, South Fork.
