Alan Dyson September 03, 1924 – May 15, 2019 Share this obituary Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Alan Dyson died Wednesday, May 15th at the Sanford Medical Center in Chamberlain. Born September 3, 1924, Alan was a lifelong farmer and rancher. After retiring in 1997, Alan enjoyed reading 5-7 newspapers every day, good movies on Netflix, Saturday morning coffee with Melissa, Sunday dinners at the Lower Brule casino, and learning to use new technologies.

He is survived by 2 siblings, Laurel Roth of Cheyenne, WY and Richard Dyson of Sioux Falls, and many nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be Monday, 11:00 a.m. May 20th at the Kennebec Cemetery, with luncheon to follow at the Kennebec Lutheran Church. If there is inclement weather, service will be at the church.
