Alan F. Tomsic October 24, 1940 – May 16, 2019 Alan F. Tomsic, 78, of Pearl River, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019, in Pearl River. Mr. Tomsic was a native and longtime resident of Cleveland, Ohio, a former resident of Canal Fulton, Ohio, where he was past President of the JayCees, and a resident of Pearl River, Louisiana, for the past forty years. After serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, Mr. Tomsic worked for I.B.M for the next 47 years, and was an active Rotarian in Slidell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank J. Tomsic; and mother Anna Kramerich Tomsic. Alan is survived by his wife of fifty years, Janis Setele Tomsic; two children, Ann Tomsic Montreuil (Bruce), Mark A. Tomsic (Amelia); three grandchildren, Nicholas Gillio, Brooke Montreuil Norris (Seth), Brandon Montreuil; step-grandchildren, J.Brody Keys, Landyn Keys; one sister, Rozanne Hindman (Bill); niece, nephews, and other relatives. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Crossgates Blvd, Slidell LA 70461.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am followed by the Mass at 12:00 noon. Burial with Military Honors, will be held at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
