Obituary for Alan Malcolm Bentjen Alan Malcolm Bentjen was born May 2, 1997 in Macon, Georgia and passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Claremore. Alan was made for this world with his love for life, family and friends. There was laughter wherever he went.

He loved all sports but football was his game. He graduated from Dewar High School and was attending Rogers State University. Alan enjoyed hunting and fishing and meeting new people.

He has touched so many lives, his memory will live on forever through everyone his life has touched. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James Taylor, Sandy Brady, Melvin Bentjen and Mary Lou Roger and his cousin, Danika Taylor. Survivors include his parents, Frederick and Deborah Bentjen, his brother, Taylor Bentjen, Unk Danny and Auntie Monica Taylor, aunts, Danielle Taylor, Denise Taylor, and Lenore Smith and uncle Joe Taylor and a host of cousins and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the McClendon-winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. A funeral service will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Dewar. Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Alan’s name to the MDA Camp c/o MDA, 5840 S. Memorial Drive, Suite 212, Tulsa, OK 74145. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
