Alan R Schehr, 76, of North Fort Myers, FL passed away peacefully on February 23, 2019 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral. He relocated to North Fort Myers with his wife, Donna in 2002 from South Brunswick, NJ. He was born in Jersey City NJ on November 1, 1942.

He proudly served his country in the National Guard. He was employed as a master Carpenter and was an accomplished watercolor artist winning many awards for his artwork. Mr. Schehr is predeceased by his parents Andrew and Alice Schehr and his brother Andrew Schehr.

Surviving are, his wife Donna Schehr; his children, Lynette Schehr of Raleigh, NC; Gregory Schehr, his wife Julie and grandson Zachary of Hillsborough, NJ, and his beloved bassett hound, Sadie. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alan’s memory made to Hope Hospice would be greatly appreciated. A memorial event will be scheduled at a later date to celebrate this wonderful man and his life.
