Mrs. Alayne Stauffer Snader, 89, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Willowbrook Court, Rock Hill, SC. Memorial service will be officiated by Rev. Bruce Jones.

The date and location of the service will be announced at a later time. Alayne was born February 11, 1930 in Salem, NJ to the late Russell Deardorff and Winnifred Price Stauffer. Survivors are her husband John Russell Snader; sons John Andrew Snader (wife Dona) of Littleton, CO; Thomas R. Snader (wife Cheryl) of Simpsonville, SC; daughter Paige S. Anderson (husband Buddy) of Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren, Jackson Snader, William Snader, Devon Anderson, Lee Anderson, Kelly Snader, Sarah Snader, Daniel Snader, and Erin Snader.

She also leaves many other family members and friends who will greatly miss her. Alayne will be fondly remembered far and wide by all who knew her and were lucky to find themselves included in her address book. From an early age, Alayne took a keen interest in hand written correspondence, and dedicated her life to sending greetings for every occasion.

She also enjoyed staying busy with many of the local women’s groups, and was a long-time member of PEO. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the River Hills/Lake Wylie Emergency Squad, 152 Heritage Drive, Lake Wylie, SC 29710 (rhems.org/donate. html).
