BABYAK, ALBERT, 93 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA. He was born February 2, 1926 Slickville, PA, the son of the late Michael Babyak and Mary (Yalcovik) Babyak. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Bradenville, PA.

Albert had served in the US Navy during WW II. He was a Life Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Albert retired from Helen Mining Company and was a member of the UMWA.

He loved gardening. Albert is survived by his daughter, Diana Balogh, Indiana, PA and also several Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores “Honey” (Bennett) Babyak in 1990; brothers, George and Steve Babyak; sisters, Liz Watchakowski and Ann Pavilik and his son-in-law, William Balogh.

The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A blessing service will be held at 1PM. Fr.

Stephen R. Bugay will officiate. VFW Post #5821 & the American Legion Post #0407 will conduct military services Saturday afternoon. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
