OBITUARY Albert H. Ostien Jr. January 25, 1928 – September 20, 2018 1928-2018 Albert H. Ostien, Jr., surrounded by family, Ppassed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Born in Essington Pennsylvania Al was the son of Albert H. Ostien, Sr. and Margaret Ostien (nee Gallagher). Al served honorably in the was a US Navy and was a Veteran; a graduate of St. Joseph’s University.

Al and worked in the Corporate Tax Department at for Sun Oil Company for 41 years until his retirement in 1989. Al enjoyed photography, spending time with his children grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed golfing with his long-time friends at local area courses. Al was predeceased by his brother Thomas Ostien and son, John Ostien.

Al is survived by his wife Frances Ostien (nee Gargan), his sister Mary Markelwith (nee Ostien), his children Terry (nee Bingham) Ostien, Michael (Maureen), Kevin (Kate), Stephen (Mary), Jeanne (Dave) Reith, Daniel (Renie), David and Patrick Ostien; 14 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Monday, September 24, 2018 6:00-8:00pm PM at Alleva Funeral Home 1724 E. Lancaster Ave. , Paoli, PA and Funeral Mass on Tuesday, September 25th at 10:00am at St. Patrick Church, 104 Channing Ave.
