Alberta (McCormick) Garrard, age 69, on Friday November 2, 2018 of Mt. Oliver, formerly of Oakland. Companion of the late Walter Charles Brietenbach.

Beloved mother of R. Douglas Garrard and Walter D. Brietenbach. Loving grandmother of Sarah and Haylee. Sister of Raymond McCormick, Joe-Anne Major and the late Marianne “Cookie” (Butch) Nestor, James (Janet) McCormick and Rose (The late Bob) Opferman.

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Alberta was a caring and loving person. Family and friends received at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick Wednesday from 5 PM until time of Blessing Service at 7:30 PM.
