Obituary for Alberta W. Long Conway…. . Mrs. Alberta W. Long, 87, widow of the late D. G. Long, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018.

Born November 11, 1930 in Conway, Mrs. Long was the daughter of the late Willie James Watts and the late Floy Mae Belle Holmes Watts. She was a homemaker and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Long was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Mrs. Long was predeceased by her brothers, Marvin, Isaac, George, and Will Watts; her sisters, Brookie Stalvey, Annie Hardee, and Virgie James; her daughter, Karen Long Ard; and her great grandson, Daniel Gavin Long. Survivors include her children, Daphne Jo Long; her son-in-law, James “Danny” Ard; her sisters, Elise Chestnut and Willane Tucker; her grandchildren, Keith (Jennifer) Long, Matthew (Christa) Ard, and Jennifer Shantie; her great-grandchildren, Alexis Shantie, Lily Long, Meshell Long, Ryan Ard, Landon Ard, and Kylie Skipper. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, officiated by Rev.

Mike Kinlaw. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00pm-2:00pm.
