Albert F. DePalantino, of Warminster, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018. He was 88. Al was born December 28, 1929 to the late Joseph and Santa DePalantino (DiSalvatore).

He had 9 brothers and sisters. He married his wife, Catherine DePalantino on January 5, 1951. They were married for 66 years.

She passed away on August 5, 2017 Albert attended St. James Grammar School in Rydal, PA before moving on to the working world as a mason and then his own paving company for 60 years. He never really retired, but helped his son, Tom, who bought the company and continued on the family business. He was a member of St. John Bosco Parish where his sons attended grade school.

He had only one hobby and everyone who knew him, knew it was GOLF. He was an avid golfer and club champion. Al is survived by his sons, Albertjohn (Tracey Tarquinio) and Thomas (Donna Cope); and his sister, Elizabeth (Honey) Trovato.

He also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. He was the brother of the late Wally, Domenic, Mary, Edward, Peter, Angeline, Joseph, and Susie. A special thanks to Joan and John Fanelli who helped care for him.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 North York Road, Hatboro, and again on Friday, December 14, 2018 after 9:30 am followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 am in St. John Bosco Church, 235 E. County Line Road, Warminster. Al requested a private burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Albert DePalantino’s name to the Anne Silverman Community Health Clinic, 595 W State St, Doylestown, PA 18901.

The Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic provides free medical and dental care for uninsured low-income adults and children residing in Bucks County.
