Obituary for Alex “Bullet” De La Rosa Born October 24, 1932 in Pasadena, CA and entered into the gates of heaven on June 8 2018 in Colton, CA. Alex was born to Alejandro and Marie Louisa De La Rosa. He attended Vista High School in Vista , CA .

Alex was active in football and baseball. He met his wife June in Fallbrook, CA. The couple married and relocated to San Bernardino, CA .

Alex was hired as a Machinist for the Santa Fe Railroad Company in 1972. He retired from the Railroad shops in Topeka ,KS in the late 1990’s. He is proceeded in death by his father Alejandro De La Rosa, mother Maria De La Rosa, brother’s; Henry , William, and Benny De La Rosa, Lastly his son Edward De La Rosa.

He is survived by his wife June De La Rosa of Highland, CA. Son Alex the 3rd De La Rosa of San Bernardino ,daughter’s Rachel Matus Of San Bernardino, CA . Gina De La Rosa Villa Gomez of Bernardino , CA.

Brother Rudy De La Rosa of San Bernardino , CA. Sister’s Dolores and Juliet of Vista, CA. Emily of Pala, CA, Ester of La Mirada, CA , Myra of Ontario, CA Julian of Los Angeles, CA and Ofelia of Texas.

Alex was blessed to have Fifteen grandchildren and Eighteen great grandchildren. Alex was truly a blessing and will continue to live through the legacy he leaves behind with his loved ones. We will be celebrating Alex De La Rosa’s life on July 6, 2018 Victory Out reach located at 900 W. Mill St. San Bernardino, CA 92410 from 10:00 am – 2:00pm with a reception to follow.
