He departed this life on December 15, 2018 at Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford, NC. He was well known in his community and well loved by all. He was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest brother, Curtis Weathers, Jr

He leaves to cherish his daughter, Carla McLeod Phidd of Sanford, NC; Nina McNeill and Rosa Smith (Gary) of Broadway, NC; Carolyn Nails of Fayetteville, NC, his beloved twin, Alfreda Weathers of Spring Lake, NC, and his brother, James Weathers of Broadway, NC; three grandchildren, Brittany McIver of Sanford, NC; Eboni Phidd of Alexandria, Louisiana and Alexis Phidd of Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico; two great grandchildren, Brayden and Bentley Taylor of Sanford, NC; one aunt, Frances McKoy of Fayetteville, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
