Alfred “Bud” Feronti October 08, 1928 – October 14, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Gifts Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Alfred “Bud” Feronti, 90, of 326 Powers Avenue, Johnsonburg, died Sunday evening, Oct. 14, 2018 at home following a brief illness. Alfred was born Oct.

8, 1928 in Johnsonburg, son of James and Dona Keller Feronti. He resided in Johnsonburg all his life and graduated Johnsonburg High School 1946. He married Arminta J. Cummings on July 8, 1946 in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg and she died June 6, 2001.

He then married Patricia Mackoviak VonArx on May 31, 2002 and she died March 16, 2012. Alfred was a member of the Holy Rosary Church, K of C council 2007. He had been a member of Armstrong Hose Co. transferring to East End Hose Co

He was a member of Central Hose Co. and the District Firemen’s Association. He had also been a member of the Rolfe Sportsmen’s Club. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, going to casinos and gambling.

He was an avid hunter and loved to collect just about anything. He loved sports and enjoyed watching them on TV and live in-person. He was employed by Penntech Papers of Johnsonburg for 47 1/2 years, retiring in 1991.

He also owned and operated an H&R Block franchise for 32 years. Alfred is survived by three daughters: Dona M., Mrs. Ralph Brunner of St. Marys; Beth Sherry of Reynoldsville; Elizabeth K. Feronti and her husband, Todd Woodin of Youngsville; his companion, Sandra Metzler, of St. Marys; by grandchildren: Jeffrey Brunner, Jason Brunner, Daniel Sherry, Denise Burkett, David Sherry and Eric Woodin; by great-grandchildren: Hayden Brunner, Jesse Brunner, DJ Piccirillo, Heather Collins, Sharissa Paget, Taylor Raubenstrauch, Kacey Raubenstrauch, Logan Brunner, Callie Brunner, Jacob Sherry, Andrew Sherry, Matthew Burkett, Max Burkett, Braxton Sherry and Brandt Sherry; and by a great-great-grandson, Mack Burkett. He is also survived by his siblings: Samuel Feronti and his wife, Hyon, of Edmund, Oklahoma; Noel Feronti of Ridgway; Nicolina “Annie” Stahli of Ridgway; Dona McCandless of New Castle; James D. Feronti and his wife, Becky, of Erie; Charlene, Mrs. Donald Leidwinger of Tucson, Arizona; Richard Feronti of Avon Lake, Ohio; and Thomas Feronti and his wife, Fran, of Union, Kentucky.

Alfred was predeceased by his parents; first wife, Arminta Feronti; second wife, Patricia Feronti; brothers and sisters: Charles Feronti, Lavonne McLaughlin, Louise Feronti, Eugene Feronti, James Feronti Jr., Patrick Feronti and Donald Feronti. A Mass of Christian Burial for Alfred “Bud” Feronti will be conducted at the Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. with Rev.

David Wilson, Pastor, officiating, Interment will be held at the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg. Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home 401 Chestnut Street Johnsonburg, Friday, Oct. 19 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions should be made to the charity of ones choice.
