Alice’s Obituary Alice D. Linn, 92, of Moweaqua, died May 13, 2019, in Moweaqua Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019, in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2019, also in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to Moweaqua Fire Department or Moweaqua Food Pantry. Alice was born May 17, 1926 in Ramsey, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Addie D. (Stoddard) Stapp.

She married Harold James Linn in Vandalia, IL December 16, 1942. He preceded her in death April 8, 2010. Alice attended First Baptist Church of Moweaqua.

She worked as a cook for 19 years and a crossing guard for 28 years at Moweaqua and Central A&M schools. Surviving are her children: Hubert (Nancy) Linn, Lonnie Linn and Phyllis Mott, all of Moweaqua; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, brother, Joseph Stapp, sister, Ida Mae Eadie and granddaughter, Stephanie Mott.
