Alice D Pietro Dagostino, July 25, 1925 — May 26, 2019

Alice’s Obituary Alice M. (DiPietro) Dagostino,93, of Worcester died peacefully Sunday May 26, 2019 in the Jewish Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 48 years Italo Dagostino died in 1994. Alice is survived by her devoted daughter Jane Michaud and her husband Kenneth of Worcester, a brother Joseph DiPietro and his wife Mary of Leicester and her two loving grandsons, Matthew and Gregory Gerardi, and a Great Granddaughter Adelynn, and many nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her sister Joanne Librandi. Alice was born in Worcester daughter of the late Carmen and Louise (Coviello) DiPietro and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and was an Administrative Assistant for the Pitney Bowes Corporation for many years before she retired.

After retirement, Alice worked for Tropic Sun Tanning Salon and became the customers favorite person at the desk. Alice was a woman of great faith and was a longtime Parishioner of the Church of Our Lady of Loreto. Enjoying staying active, she was the Secretary for Fr.

Ralph Diorio’s Ministry and volunteered at the Mustard Seed, and UMASS Bone Marrow Registry. Alice enjoyed being with her family above all else. She was a kind and generous woman who would help any one in need.

She loved to read the Newspaper and in her younger years enjoyed playing tennis. Alice will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Jewish Healthcare Center for their kindness and compassion, especially Sandy, Georgette, and Peg.

Alice’s funeral will be held on Thursday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in the Church of Our Lady of Loreto 33 Massasoit Rd, Calling hours will be on Wednesday evening from 4PM to 7PM in the funeral home, Interment will be with her husband in Notre Dame Cemetery. Contributions in Alice’s memory may be made to Our Lady of Loreto Church at the above address.
