Mrs. Alice Faye Snell Sasser, 70, of Ariton, died Wednesday evening, May 23, 2018, at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 26, 2018, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Harold Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Ariton, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.

The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 1:00 P. M. until service time. Mrs. Sasser was born April 14, 1948 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to the late Roger Charles Snell and Nora Edna Wilson Snell. She grew up in Ozark and lived in various places while her father served in the United States Army.

Mrs. Sasser worked with Collier Oil Company and Cowikee Cotton Mills in Ozark. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Ozark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Glen Tomlin.

Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Byron Sasser of Ariton; one daughter, Julie Ann Tomlin of Ozark; one son, Denny Wayne Tomlin (Winnana) of Augusta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Keri Grace Tomlin-Krepps (Ryan), George Tomlin, Nicholas Tomlin, and Michael Tomlin; four sisters, Nellie Haburey of Ozark, Lena Fish of Newton, Kathy Cotton of Ozark, Debbie Sanders (Glen “Bo”) of Echo; one brother, Jimmy Snell (Deborah) of Jacksonville, Florida. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital Attn; Tribute Department, St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
