Obituary for Alice “Marion” M. “Marion” Hileman (Seeley) Alice Marion Hileman 90 of Harrison passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Alice was born November 11, 1928 in Lakefield Township, Saginaw County, Michigan the daughter of Richard Grover Seeley and Anna (Simkims) Seeley. Marion graduated from Harrison High School in 1946.

Marion was united in marriage to Mr. William “Bill” Somers Hileman on October 9, 1947 in Harrison. Mrs. Hileman had resided in Harrison since 1943, moving from St. Charles, Michigan. She was a devote member of Harrison Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for many years.

Marion gave thirty-five years of service to Harrison Community Schools as an Administrative Secretary to the offices of; high school principal and superintendent of schools. Mrs. Hileman enjoyed traveling, attending her children’s, grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s school functions and sporting events. For many years, the family spent summer vacations at St. Martin’s Point in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with the Gassman family.

Marion’s greatest passion was making memories with her family during holidays or any family event. Mrs. Hileman never turned down an opportunity to shop, especially if it involved clothes, bells, dolls or dishes. Surviving Marion are her four loving children, two daughters; Peggy R. Bray and husband Terry of Laingsburg, Michigan and Sue A. Craven and husband Rick of Harrison, two sons; William L. “Bill” Hileman and wife Sherry of Harrison and R.Kelly Hileman and wife Robin of Freeland, Michigan, nineteen grandchildren, forty-seven great-grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, plus a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mrs. Hileman was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of fifty-nine years, Mr. William “Bill” Hileman, three sisters; Clarissa Cowie, Grace Wells and Lillian DeJohn, one brother, Melvin Seeley, one sister in law and three brothers in law. Funeral services celebrating Mrs. Hileman will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with family officiating. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison.

Marion’s final resting will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison.
