Obituary for Alice M. Mastro (Hora) Alice M. Mastro, 88 of Pittsburgh, formerly of Donora, died on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Grandview Estates, Elizabeth. She was born in Braddock on September 18, 1930, a daughter to the late Alexander and Mary Scovern Hora. Mrs. Mastro was Catholic by faith and worked as a tax preparer for many years.
Alice also worked at the Donora Public Library. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Mastro on January 10, 2008; 3 brothers, Edward, Henry and Alex Hora; and one sister, Lillian Mencarelli. She is survived by three sons, Jay Mastro, Scott Mastro, and Craig (Deanna Nemec) Mastro; one granddaughter, Danielle Mastro; numerous nieces and nephews; and one sister, Irene Saniga.
A private family visitation followed by a private Mass of Christian Burial was held as per Alice’s request. Entombment took place in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela. Arrangements were entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC.
