Alisha Faye Casteel Robertson, May 21, 1983 — May 13, 2019

Alisha Faye Casteel Robertson, 35, of Beaver Dam passed away May 13, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Ohio County on May 21, 1983 to Cathy Kish Lindsey and Dudley Casteel. She was raised by her late grandparents, Marvin and Faye Casteel.

Alisha attended New Covenant Tabernacle and was employed at Pizza Hut. She attended Owensboro Community and Technical College and was a senior scheduled to graduate in December with a Medical Information Technology and Medical Coding degree. Throughout her illness, she remained on the Dean’s list.

Alisha was a very strong and independent woman. She loved life and wanted to live and enjoy it to the fullest. She loved to read, travel, and enjoyed making crafts, pie, cakes, and candy.

She was a hard worker and enjoyed life with her family and friends. Along with her grandparents, Alisha is preceded in death by her cousins, Steve Whitely, Ray Casteel, Wilma Myers, Greg Myers, and Justin Casteel. Along with her parents, she is survived by her husband (separated), Doug “Dougie” Robertson, her half-siblings, Paul Douglas Casteel, Edward Casteel, Donna Lindsey, David Lindsey, Daniel Lindsey, Richard Lindsey, Jeramy Lindsey; her mother-in-law, Linda Dame, her nephews, Jason and Zach Towe, several aunts, uncles, cousins, her special friend, Troy Smith, and Troy’s children, Danielle, Raven, Anthony, and Ronnie.

Services will be 2:30 pm Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home, with Reverend Dale Calloway and Reverend Marty Bowlds officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alisha Robertson Memorial Fund c/o Miller Schapmire Funeral Home; 114 West Walnut Street; Hartford, Kentucky 42347.
