Mr. Sadtler joined the U.S. Navy in 1943 and served in the Pacific Theater in World War II until his discharge in 1946. As a reservist he served his country again in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War in 1950-1951. He studied topographic mapping at Columbia Tech.
