Obituary of Allan Kuklentz Allan Kuklentz, 78, Schwenksville Allan “Big Al” R. Kuklentz, Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Born on January 7 1941, in Allentown, PA, he was the son of Blanche (Sheehan) and Wilber R. Kuklentz. As his mother died when he was very young, he was raised by his grandmother, Bertha S. Hulshizer.

He graduated from Church Farm School in Exton in 1958. He worked at Bethlehem Steel, Montgomery County Community College, and Lockheed Martin, where he retired in 2006. He was also a school bus driver for Sacks Bus Company.

He was a former Chief and EMT/Paramedic with Friendship Ambulance in Royersford and Medic 99. He was a member of the Royersford Masonic Lodge. He was a Cub Scout leader for Troop 406 and former member of Grace Lutheran Church in Royersford.

With family and friends, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and trips to Canada. Surviving are a daughter, Deborah L. husband of Steven Shanley, Spring City, and two sons, A. Robert “Bob” Kuklentz Jr. and wife Marybeth, Spring City; Christopher J. and wife Jennifer, Schwenksville; and daughter, Kathy wife of Glenn Williams, Seneca, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Katelin and husband Tyler Drinkard; Eric, Madison, Alexandra , and Olivia Kuklentz; one great-grandson, Luca Robert Drinkard. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Linda Kuklentz Krevenko.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral ceremony at The Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge St. Spring City, PA 19475 on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:30 AM. The Rev. Mary Etta Mest will be officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 with a Masonic service at 10:15. Burial will be held at The Highland Memorial Gardens, Pottstown.
