Obituary for Allen Butler Allan James Butler Sr. was born on May 24th, 1925 in Montebello, California to Allan and Vivian Butler. He was a proud World War II veteran who received six medals along with the Purple Heart. He worked for the Parks Department in the City of Torrance for 25 years.

He also took up coaching Torrance Little League and Pony League for many years. He was also a member of the Masonic Order, member of Amalike Shrine, and Order of Eastern Star. Allan Butler married Roberta Louise Bell and have celebrated 56 years of marriage.

He is survived by Allan James Butler Jr. and his wife Sandy, Nancy Butler Sakimae and her husband Les, William D. Butler and his wife Denise, as well as 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Services will be held at the graveside at Green Hills Memorial Park on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00pm.
