Obituary for Allen Roy Chase Allen Roy Chase, age 74, of Kalamazoo, passed away June 20, 2018. He was born August 11, 1943 in Detroit to the late Roy and Clara Chase. Allen worked was employed by Western Michigan University for 35 years retiring in 1998.

He worked as a chef for many years and later promoted to food warehouse manager. He is survived by his sister, Lois Cutrer and brother, James Chase. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date in Woodmere Cemetery, Detroit.
