Allen Bynum, age 51, of Mayfield, KY died at 8:45 PM Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. Allen was member of the Teamsters Union Local #236, a U.S. Navy Veteran of Operation Desert Storm and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mayfield. Allen is survived by his wife – Robin Bynum of Mayfield, KY; mother – Yvonne Bynum of Eddyville, KY; daughter – Krista (Jonathan) Gilpin of Mayfield, KY; three sons – Scott Kloss of Paducah, KY, James Charlie Bynum of Mayfield, KY and Matthew Bynum of Mayfield, KY, brother – Joe Bynum of Princeton, KY; sister – Yvette Youngblood of Kuttawa, KY and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father – James Charlie Bynum. Funeral services for Allen will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Brown Funeral home in Mayfield, KY. Rev Duane Fields will officiate with burial to follow in the Mayfield Memory Gardens.

Friends are invited to call after 9:00 AM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #26. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Allen T. Bynum please visit our Sympathy Store.
