Allen’s Obituary On Monday, December 24, 2018, Allen “Butch” Aubrey Wilganowski of Elgin, Texas passed away at the age of 70. Allen was born on November 6, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Victor and Dorothy Wilganowski. Allen proudly served in the US Air Force (1966-70) during the Vietnam War as an Aerospace Photographer and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal for his service during the Vietnam War.

He recently retired from the State Comptroller’s Office with 38 years of service. Allen had a passion for the greater things in life. He enjoyed his Italian leather shoes, road trips, fast cars, coin collecting, delicious food and a good cup of coffee.

Allen is survived by his mother, Dorothy Will (Janda) of Houston, his daughter Solitaire Lind (Jason), 2 grandchildren; Heather Ambriz (Gabriel) and Mikael Huerta and great grandson Daniel and many cousins.
