OBITUARY Allyn Jinks April 26, 1963 – September 2, 2018 Allyn Dale Jinks, 55, of North Chesterfield, Va. , passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018. Allyn was born in Athens, Ga.

on April 26, 1963. His family moved to Atlanta, then to New Jersey, Oklahoma, Brazil, Minnesota and finally to Richmond in 1979. He graduated from VCU, obtaining a business degree.

After that, Allyn was an independent sales representative for multiple motorcycle accessories manufacturers. He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas David Jinks I. He is survived by his son, Alex Jinks; his mother, Kay; his brothers, Doug and Darren; and other extended family. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 9, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Woody Funeral Home – Huguenot Chapel, where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. the same day.

Interment will be private.
