Obituary for Alpha Wilson Lindsay BENBROOK – Alpha Wilson Lindsay, 89, passed through the Gates of Heaven, Sunday, July 1, 2018. Alpha was born on June 29, 1929, to Tim and Modena McNeely and raised near Toro, Louisiana. She married Horace “Doc” Wilson in 1946, and raised two sons, Horace Gene and Roy Dean.

Horace passed away in 1986, and Alpha remarried in 2008, to Terry Lindsay. She worked at Stripling & Cox for 14 years. Since 1962 she has been a faithful and dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Benbrook.

She loved the Lord and was very active in church her whole life. Alpha was an avid bowler and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by first husband, Horace (Doc) Wilson; brother, Homer McNeely; sister, Jackie Condon; and grandson, Justin Dean Wilson.

Survivors: Husband, Terry Lindsay; son, Horace Gene Wilson of Aberdeen, Scotland and Longview, Texas and wife, Lynda Kay; their three children, Kris Wilson, Kimberly Wilson Webber and Kathryn Wilson McPhetridge and husband, Jeramy; son, Roy Dean Wilson and wife, Patti, and their three children, Chris Cox and wife, Ashley, Taylor Cox and Parker Cox; son, Gary Lindsay and wife, Felicia, and their three children, Chase, Tanner and Sarah; daughter, Karen Landon and husband, Scott, and their four children, Barry Thompkins, Blake Martin, Brett Martin and Bailey Martin; son, David Lindsay and his three children, Lauren, Emma and Lizzy; and eight great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Webber, Michael Webber, Alyssa McPhetridge, Kevin Webber, Sarah McPhetridge, Joseph Webber, Lauren McPhetridge and Liam Cox.
