Obituary for James Wilford White FORT WORTH- James “Jimmie” White, 97, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018. Jimmie was born June 29, 1921, in Eldorado, Oklahoma. He married Mary Juanita Merideth on July 3, 1948, at Olivet Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.

He was a cost accountant at LTV Aerospace, now Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc., in Grand Prairie, for 35+ years. Jimmie was an active member at Polytechnic-East Meadows Baptist Church of Fort Worth. He loved and faithfully served Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior.

The family is grateful to the staff at Downtown HR and Hospice Plus for their excellent care of our dad. Survivors: Sons, Rick White (Becky) of Arlington, David White (Beverly) of Fort Worth; daughter, Kathy Burt (John) of Fort Worth; brother, Jack White of San Antonio; grandchildren, April, Polly, Adam, Melissa, Jennifer, Zach, Emily and Seth; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.
