Obituary for Alton Theodore Neel Sr. Alton Theodore Neel, Sr., of Lucedale, MS passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. He was born on June 22, 1943 in Leakesville, MS to Walter Thomas Neel and Grace Leveina Bradley. Alton is survived by his beloved wife, Rosa Perez Neel; his children Teresa Bourgeois (Kenny), Alton Theodore Neel, Jr. (Brittany), and Henry Neel (Melissa); grandchildren Ashley Merritt, Amber Hearndon, Kenneth T. Bourgeois, Jade Gerrick, Adam Merritt, Gage Neel, Garrett Neel, Hayli Bourgeois, and Ainsley Neel; and seven great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sisters Thretha McLemore and Bonnie Randall. Alton is preceded in death by his daughter Becky Merritt, his daughter-in-law Tracy Neel, his parents, his brother, and his sisters. Arrangements are pending and have been entrusted to E.J. Fielding Funeral Home.
