Obituary for Amanda Jane (Burke) Blood Amanda Jane (Burke) Blood of Seminole, FL born January 22, 1965 passed away unexpectedly September 4th, 2018. She was born in Northport, New York and moved to Largo, Florida in 1977 with her parents, John H. Burke and Constance (Baer) Burke who are both deceased. Amanda is survived by her daughter, Ariel Hollingsworth of Seminole.

Her son Damon Blood and former husband Greg C. Blood of St. Petersburg. She is also survived by her brother, Kevin Burke and his family in Shrewsbury, NJ and her sister, Pamela Burke and her family in Middletown, NJ and many extended family members and friends. Amanda was a high-energy, talkative, spontaneous person who loved to laugh.

She took meticulous care of wherever she lived and the people and pets around her. Amanda would do anything for anyone around her. She loved everyone’s company and always enjoyed talking to someone and having a good time.

She worked in the insurance industry for many years throughout Pinellas County. After an auto accident, she struggled with opioid addiction. Amanda recently made significant progress with the disease and her sudden death has shocked and saddened all who love her.
