Amber Mack George, 57, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, while at the Beacon Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Amber was the son of Arthur M. and Vada Mae (Bryan) George who was born December 19, 1960 in Indiana, PA. Amber spent many years employed as a mechanic.

His interests varied from attending car shows, motorcycling, and drag racing. He was the type of man that would always help his neighbors and friends, taking them to appointments and assisting them with other things they may have needed. He cared for his grandfather and helped him reach the age of 100.

Amber also enjoyed decorating for Christmas and he enjoyed going to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, where he was wed. Surviving is his wife of 15 years, Betty (Shoop) George, with whom he had been together a total of 38 years; his dog, Gabby, and three cats, Wylie, Chase, and Dusty. Preceding Amber in death were his parents; brother, Harry Recesky; numerous friends; and a special dog, Cruzie.

In lieu of flowers Amber would like memorial donations to be sent to Four Footed Friends at 220 Beck Road, Indiana, PA, 15701. The John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
