Hamilton – Andrew David Shook, age 28, of Hamilton, MT passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2019 in Canyon City, CO. Andrew was born in Hamilton on August 11, 1990 to Sherry Paisley-Shook and Steven Shook. From the moment he entered this world, he captured the adoration and hearts of everyone around him and we KNEW our world would never be the same.

Andrew, AKA Drew, Bubba, Shook, Shooky was a kind-hearted and caring young man who loved to spend time with his family and friends. He had the biggest smile that would just light up the room. Drew loved to sing, play the guitar and piano, was known to do just about anything for a laugh, and had the gift of telling stories!

From a young age Andrew loved to hunt, hike, camp, and fish. He was a lover of football, basketball, and golfing… which became his passion. Drew had a knack for making whatever he did look effortless.

He had a special bond with his Uncle Ben, who was like a father to him. Ben kindled those passions and they enjoyed NUMEROUS hunting, fishing, and camping adventures as well as sporting events over the years. Ben taught him values and work ethic, showing that with hard work all things were within reach.

His Aunt Dana, who was a second mother and his biggest fan, also had a special bond with him. She was always there to encourage him and supported him in all his endeavors. As many high school graduates do, Andrew struggled to figure out what he wanted to be when he “grew up”, but finally decided to pursue golf.

He attended the Professional Golf Career College in Temecula, CA. After graduating, Drew came back to the Bitterroot where he met is girlfriend Stacey and discovered SHE was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Andrew leaves behind his parents, Sherry Paisley and Steve (Maribeth) Shook; his second family, Ben, Dana, Brittany, and Breanna Nelson; his siblings, Hannah Paisley-Hendricks, Jakub Paisley-Bunch, Indya Paisley-Patten, Veronica (Marcus) Zimmerman, and Marven Shook; girlfriend, Stacey Marks; niece, Elena and nephew Julian; Grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services, with potluck reception to follow, will be held at 11a.m. Saturday March 2, 2019 at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton with Pastor Dan Dixson officiating. Private family interment will occur at a later date. If you knew him, remember him in your own way and celebrate the good memories.

Andrew, if love could have saved you, you never would have died. Remembering you and our times together is easy…we will do it every day. But missing you is a heartache that never goes away.

Rest in peace sweet boy. Condolences may be left for the family at www. dalyleachchapel.com.
