Angela C. Raterman, age 100, of Botkins, passed away May 8, 2018, at Ohio Living Dorothy Love in Sidney. She was born September 19, 1917, in St. Patrick, Ohio, to the late Henry and Louise (Romie) Varno. She was married November 13, 1947 to Vincent G. Raterman and he preceded her in death November 26, 1985.

Angela is survived by children; Wayne Raterman of Anna, Dale (Linda) Raterman of Jackson Center, Joan (Kermit) Nuesmeyer of Zanesfield, Anthony (Linda) Raterman of Botkins, Michael (Cindy) Raterman of Wapakoneta, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. Angela retired from the G.C. Murphy Company in Sidney and volunteered at FISH for over twenty years.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Botkins. She was also a member of the Ladies Sodality and Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to spend time in her garden, sewing, taking vacations and trips.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Family and friends may call from 3 – 8 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on May 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Botkins, with Rev.

Patrick Sloneker officiating. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Church cemetery in Botkins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Church in Angela’s memory.
