Obituary of Angela Cavazos Angela Cavazos, 91, of Los Indios, Texas passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 in Harlingen, Texas. Born October 1, 1927 in Los Indios, Texas, she was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of San Benito and had been most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Tomas Cavazos; three brothers, Miguel, Joaquin, and Alfredo Cavazos; three sisters, Aurora Cavazos, Herminia Moreno, and Rosa Gonzales; and grandson, Scottie Murtha.

Angela was an avid gardener who along with her husband grew corn, okra, tomatoes, and squash. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Survivors include her loving sons, Noe (Ana) Cavazos of San Benito and Juan (Irian) Cavazos of Harlingen; loving daughters, Noemi (Paul) Pomeroy of Austin, Eunice (Donnie) Buell of California, Ruth (Ronald) Murtha of Ft.

Worth, Martha (Douglas) Jenkins of Edinburg, and Ann (David) Favila of Harlingen; brother, Andres Cavazos; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nephews and nieces. Visitation will begin Sunday, December 23, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Talk at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home of San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 24, 2018, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
